Dell Latitude D600 Raspberry Pink

After reading many reviews I have put together a summary about the pink laptops Dell Latitude D600 series.

Most of the reviews summeries the D600 as quick, reliable and good value for money. Again, this laptop seems to be an excellant choice for students. It isn’t the lightest laptop out there, but is easily light enough to carry around to and from places and can take a few knocks.

The screen is a good size, with excellant crisp vibrant images that makes is good for watching DVDs or for when your spending hours staring at it. It is capable of running multiple programs, flicking in between one another and looking at the internet at the same time.

The keyboard is durable, isn’t too noisy and feels sturdy. A lot of reviews complained about the speakers not being very loud, with the noise being tinny, so maybe some extra speakers would be a good idea especially when your playing DVDs. The battery life can last anywhere between 2-4 hours, which is pretty much standard with any laptops so no real complains there. Another problem many people noted was that it does overheat quite a bit, as the fan isn’t as efficient as it should be. This can be fixed by just propping the laptop up so extra air can get to the fan. Not great really if you expect more from your laptop.

For the price this laptop does seem very value for your money. It would definately suit someone who isn’t expecting the best but knows that the laptop may get bashed around a bit so they don’t want to spend the money for the best. Would be good for students of any age, or just a computer that is just needed to browse the internet, have Itunes and just for general use.
